Customer Reviews
Good deal for the experience
I was looking for something affordable for my trip to San Francisco and found VoiceMap. I picked up the 'Golden Gate Bridge Cycling Tour' when it was on a slight discount. It was a good price compared to renting a guide. The tour itself was engaging, and I felt like I got a lot of historical context for what I paid. It definitely felt like I got good value for my money, and it saved me from joining a pricey group tour.
Fun city tour
I grabbed the 'Historical Walking Tour' in Boston last month. It was pretty cool, just walked around and the audio played when I got to spots. Super easy to use, and I learned some stuff too. Felt like I was just exploring with a local friend, which was nice.
Easy to use, worked well
Used the 'Nature Walks in Central Park' tour. Downloaded it fast. GPS worked right. Audio was good. Made my walk more interesting. No problems at all.
Good value, minor GPS issue
I got the 'Street Art Tour' in Miami for my vacation. The price felt fair for what I received, definitely cheaper than a guided group tour. The audio quality was clear and the stories were interesting. My main issue was that the GPS sometimes lagged a bit, especially when I was walking quickly between points. It wasn't a deal-breaker, but I had to backtrack a couple of times for the audio to trigger. Customer service was quick to answer a question I had before buying, which was a plus. I'd use them again, just maybe at a slower pace.
Great tours, good support
I purchased the 'Ghost Tours of New Orleans' and 'French Quarter Food Tour' for a trip. Ordering was straightforward on the website. I downloaded the tours to my phone and they worked offline perfectly. The GPS triggering was accurate, even in crowded areas. On the food tour, one stop mentioned was closed, so I reached out to support. They responded within a few hours and offered a credit for a future tour, which was a good solution. The narrators were engaging, and the content was well-researched. Overall, it enhanced my visit quite a bit.

Is VoiceMap legit? Never heard of it before and seeing a tour I like for my NYC trip, but wanna make sure it's not some weird scam or anything.
Anyone know if you're stuck on a really specific path with these tours? Like, if I wanna detour for a coffee, will it mess everything up?
How long do you have access to a tour after you buy it? Forever? A month? Trying to plan ahead but not sure when I'll actually get to use it.
Got a promo code from a travel blog, but it's not working in the app. Am I doing something wrong or do codes only work on their website?
Anyone know if there's usually a student discount for these? Or any other easy way to get a few bucks off?
